Contact Info | Check out our Summer Adaptive Programs
Our adaptive ski program is run mostly by volunteers who give their time and energy for the cause. They are the heart and soul of the adaptive ski school. Depending on the nature of the disabilities several volunteers may be required to put a student on snow and assist with the lesson. On-snow volunteers can begin our training program to learn how to work with students. Other volunteers are needed for off-snow activities include running the office, adapting and building equipment to accommodate the special needs of special students. Stop by to see how you can help.
The Adaptive Program office is located on the lower level of the Bretton Woods Base Lodge, between the ski school desk and the New England Ski Museum display. The Base Lodge is wheelchair accessible. HP parking is available at the accessible door to the right of the Base Lodge. The adaptive program is open every day that the mountain is open. Lessons are normally two hours each, beginning at 10am and 1pm Most lessons are private lessons, involving at least one instructor and often involving several volunteers. Reservations are highly recommended, however we try to accommodate walk-in students whenever possible.
Call 603.278.3398 or email adaptiveprogram@mountwashingtongresort.com to reserve your lessons in advance.
