High-Alpine Eco Tours with the AMC | Check out our Packages

Join an Adventure Guide from the Appalachian Mountain Club for this fun and informative high-alpine, snowshoe eco-tour to the summit of Mt. Stickney or West Mountain at the Bretton Woods alpine ski area. This program involves an easy to moderate hike of about 2-3 hours.
Appropriate clothing/gear is required - some winter clothing available from AMC:
- Small Daypack for extra clothing and gear
- Sturdy winter hiking boots-no sneakers
- Wool/fleece warm hat
- Winter gloves
- Insulating upper layer (Fleece or wool jacket)
- Insulating bottom layer (Fleece or wool pants)
- Winter Jacket-Waterproof
- Winter Pants-Waterproof-no cotton/denim
- Personal first aid items
- Snack for summit
- Water bottle OR Camelback
- Sunscreen
Offered Sundays at 10am & 1pm from December 21, 2008 through March 23, 2009, as conditions permit. Meet at the Adventure Center on the lower level of the Bretton Woods Base Lodge at 9:30am for the morning trip and 12:30pm for the afternoon trip.
Special midweek Eco-Tours are offered during December and February Family Fun Weeks!
