Welcome to Mount Washington Resort's Media Center!

There is so much happening here at Mount Washington Resort --- where characters abound, and there is a story around every corner! With a history beginning in the 1700s, in the shadow of the Northeast's highest peaks, you can imagine the possibilities.

A place as unique for its magnificent natural setting as it is for its glorious history and architecture, Mount Washington Resort is simply unforgettable. Once you begin to delve into its rich fabric, your imagination will seize upon the fascinating details and lead you on the trail to discovery . . . there is so much more to Mount Washington Resort --- home to The Mount Washington Hotel, fabled for its elegance and grandeur; Bretton Woods alpine and Nordic ski centers, recognized nationally for excellent snow quality, family programs, and customer service; and the Mount Washington Course, a Donald Ross original golf course that was unveiled this summer, according to its original design of 1915. And yet there is so much more . . . romance, culture, history, and adventure . . . and so the stories continue!

The Mount Washington Hotel, which played host to the Bretton Woods International Conference in 1944, is and always will be the stunning centerpiece of Mount Washington Resort; and with recent renovation and restoration, New Hampshire's historic Grande Dame has never been more beautiful. With the unveiling of the new Spa and meeting space, scheduled to debut in the winter of 2008/09, she truly will be revitalized, becoming a four-season destination without parallel in New England.

And, yet, there is so much more . . .
